Originally built to celebrate the re-emergence of San Francisco for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in the aftermath of the 1906 earthquake and fire, The Marina has since become home to some of the city’s most expensive real estate. Sunshine and boutiques are abundant, and young professionals can usually be found strolling through the Marina, a neighborhood that enjoys a vibe completely different from any other place in San Francisco. The Marina’s two main streets, Chestnut and Union, are lined with great shopping and dining, and provide one of the city’s more lively nightlife scenes. Just a stone’s throw away from numerous recreation areas, including Crissy Field, The Presidio, Marina Green, Fort Mason, and Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Cow Hollow

Pacific Heights

Pacific Heights is one of the most exclusive neighborhoods of San Francisco. Decadent mansions that were once called home by the families who made their fortunes in the Gold Rush are found throughout the neighborhood, and residents frequent the high-end boutiques and restaurants on Fillmore Street. While Pacific Heights is mostly residential, commercial areas in Cow Hollow and Lower Pacific Heights are just a short walk away. Locals enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay from the hilltops and parks of Pacific Heights.
